Patient Care Technician (PCT)

 

The Patient Care Technician program will provide you with training to perform clinical tasks such as:
Collecting Blood/Phlebotomy
Performing Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
Completing Catheterizations
Recording Vital Signs and Patient Treatments

You will receive instruction in anatomy and physiology, understanding body functions and related illnesses. You will also have a thorough understanding of medical terminology to aid in the collection and documentation of patient data.

 

Tuition:  $4,000

Deposit:  $300 (Deposits are non-refundable)

Background Check

*Books, testing fees, physical exam and TB test are included in tuition

Exams:  NHA  

Students will take certification exam for Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Payment Plans Available

Weekly payments are required.  Balance must be paid in full before the end of the course.  If balance is not paid in full, students will not be allowed to take NHA exam.

Students are required to wear scrubs to class.

Qualifications:

Minimum 18 years of age

Photo ID and social security card

High School Diploma/GED

CNA Certification

Must be able to pass background check

*Books, testing fees, physical exam and TB test included in tuition

Entrance exam, if required

Hours:

Monday – Friday  8:00am – 12:00pmpm, 1:00pm – 5:00pm, 5:00pm – 10:00pm  (10 weeks)

Optional:  $20 scrubs; $15 stethoscope; $15 blood pressure cuff
