Phlebotomy technicians are health care professionals who draw blood and other specimens from patients or blood donors for medical testing and processing.  This course teaches students how to safely and effectively draw blood using venipuncture and capillary puncture methods for adults and children, plus finger sticks or heel sticks for young children and infants.  Non-blood specimen collection practices are usually part of the curriculum.

Tuition:  $1,500

Deposit:  $300 (Deposits are non-refundable)

Background check required

*Books, testing fees, physical exam and TB test are included in tuition

Exams: NHA

Payment Plans Available

Weekly payments are required.  Balance must be paid in full before the end of the course.  If balance is not paid in full, students will not be allowed to take NHA exam.

Students are required to wear scrubs to class.

Qualifications:

Minimum 19 years of age

Photo ID and social security card

High School Diploma/GED

Must be able to pass background check

Hours:                                                  

Monday – Friday   8:00am – 12:00pm, 1:00pm – 5:00pm, 5:00pm – 10:00pm   (4 weeks)

Optional:  $20 scrubs; $15 stethoscope; $15 blood pressure cuff
